What affiliate links are
Some links to products on PatioBloom are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without the link.
Amazon Associates and other programs
PatioBloom participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We also participate in affiliate programs run by garden supply retailers and seed companies.
Advertising
We display advertising on this site. Advertisers have no input into our editorial content, and no advertiser has ever been given the ability to review, approve, or change a recommendation before it was published.
How we choose what to recommend
Every product in a review has to solve a problem we describe in a guide. We grow in real small spaces — balconies, patios, and decks, and we prioritize gear that works in containers, tolerates wind, and makes sense for renters who may have to move it. When a cheap option is good enough, we say so.
What we will not do
We do not accept payment for a positive review, we do not publish sponsored posts disguised as editorial, and we do not rank products by commission rate. If we have not used a product or cannot verify how it performs, we say that plainly instead of implying hands-on testing.
